I don't remember how to do the calculations, but I do remember some of the principles and they are helpful. As the world becomes more digitized, it will be harder and harder for young people to get along without a good grounding in mathematics. For those who are weak in math skills, some sort of "algebra and geometry in daily life" series should be offered and required.
